Playground Issues in Hawaii
Aloha, Although many consider Hawaii a perfect paradise, it offers unique and often difficult challenges when creating safe places for our Keiki to play. Please join me in an ongoing discussion on playground design, playground safety, playground equipment, and environmentally friendly solutions. A hui hou kakou, Mike McFarlane www.islandrecreation.net
About Me
I have been involved in the designing and building of parks and children's playgrounds for 15 years now. I am very connected to the playground industry both nationally and locally in Hawaii. I am writing this Blog because I see some alarming trends developing in Hawaii's playgrounds and parks and hope to raise awareness about them. I believe our children's development and safety should not take a backseat to anything.
